Wanted to share this incredible story with you, because you were a part of it...
I got a phone call tonight from one of the soldiers that we gave one of the 15 Nitecore flashlights that we sent with you guys to Israel. They were sponsored by Frank Storch and came through Uzi Bodner, who also got us rifle mounts for them.
We gave one to a soldier we know who is in an infantry unit in Gaza.
He told me that his unit was given the task to clear out one of the buildings in Khan Younis. He was first one from his unit slated to enter the building, and everyone has rifles drawn, ready to go in.
Since it was dark, he turned on the flashlight attached to his rifle that we gave him, and gets ready to burst the door open.
Suddenly, in the beam of the flashlight, he notices through the bullet holes in the door, that there is a thin wire attatched to the back of the door.
He yells to everyone, stop! Its ממולכד! (Booby trapped)
They all moved back, and brought in the engineer forces, and when they destroyed the house, it blew up with all the explosives inside, but b"h they were saved.
He asked me to tell his story to everyone who was involved in sending these flashlights and thank you...
We might think the gear we send is just helpful, but here it was actually instrumental in saving soldier's lives.
