As reported earlier by Chaim V’Chessed, numerous countries have been operating flights to extract their citizens from Israel. It should be emphasized that Chaim V’Chessed does not promote leaving Israel, but this information is provided for foreigners who are stranded here.

The United States has operated numerous flights from Tel Aviv to Athens over the past few days. Tomorrow, October 16, at least two more flights will depart to Athens. US citizens and their immediate family members may arrive at Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 3 and approach the desk for US citizens, located on the 2nd floor of the terminal.

Additionally, the US will operate a cruise ship on Monday, October 16 from Haifa to Cyprus. This option appears to be an arduous and uncomfortable journey. If despite this, you wish to avail yourself of this option, the details are as follows:

Interested passengers should arrive no later than 9 AM at the Haifa Passenger Terminal. Access is via the entry bridge to the terminal, which begins at 65 HaAtsmaut Street, Haifa. The trip will take approximately 10-12 hours and the ship will dock in Limassol, Cyprus. While the US Embassy will provide transportation to the international airports in Larnaca and Paphos, this will be an extremely wearying trip. Then, citizens will need to find lodging in Cyprus, and flights onwards from Cyprus, which are not so easy to come by.
