A bomb threat prompted a police investigation at Baltimore/Washington International Airport on Wednesday, according to a CNN report citing a source familiar with the situation. The vehicle in question was later cleared by authorities, officials said in a 4:15 p.m. update.

For now, Upper Level roadway is open for both passenger dropoff/pickup.
According to CNN's report, a person parked outside the terminal claimed to have a bomb in their vehicle. The person was arrested, CNN reported.
Airport officials confirmed police were investigating a vehicle on a lower-level roadway near the terminal, according to a social media post.
During the investigation, airport officials closed the terminal road to traffic. Airport officials said travelers inside the terminal were also asked to remain inside.
