The Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee is presently accepting resumes to nominate an individual to fill the vacancy of Delegate in the 41st Legislative District due to the resignation of Delegate Tony Bridges from the House of Delegates effective May 15, 2023.
To apply, the following qualifications must be met:
• A registered Democratic voter in the State of Maryland;
• A resident of the State of Maryland for one (1) year;
• A resident of the 41st Legislative District for six (6) months; and
• Be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
Interested applicants should email a resume (attached as a PDF) to baltimorecitydems@gmail.com and indicate “41st District” in the email subject line. Resumes must be received via email by no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, June 2, 2023 for consideration. Resumes must include your full name (no nicknames), address, email address, and phone number. Resumes received after the deadline will not be considered.
Interviews of all eligible applicants will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 and conducted virtually on Zoom beginning at 6:30 PM. Applicants will be notified of their specific interview times. The interviews are open to the public to view and will be live-streamed on the Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/baltimorecitydems).
The eight (8) voting members of the 41st Legislative District will vote publicly after all interviews have concluded to nominate an individual to fill the vacancy.
