Over the past hour, United Hatzalah's Dispatch Center has received numerous calls regarding people suffering emotional shock and psychological stress reactions due to the numerous warning sirens sounding in Beitar Illit that have been going off intermittently due to security concerns. Members of the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit are responding to the calls as they come in.
Due to the security threats, the organization has raised the alert level for volunteers in the city and surrounding area. All volunteers in the region in the city have been asked to be extra diligent and ready to respond to any emergency as it arises and respond while wearing protective vests and helmets if needed.
