Baltimore, MD – Nov. 25, 2022 - A beautiful Yarchei Kallah learning program took place yesterday at Khal Kedushas Yisroel - Kollel Khal Chasidim on Park Heights Avenue.

A sizeable crowd of Baalei Batim took the opportunity to use the day off and indulge in Torah learning.

The event began at 10 AM when the oilem began by learning the sugya of reciting Hallel on Rosh Chodesh (yesterday was the 1st day Rosh Chodesh Kislev) in the pre-printed kuntreisim with copies of the Gemoros and seforim needed on this topic. What a beautiful sight to see the chasiddishe kollel yingerleit learning together b'chavrusa with the local Baalei Batim, which brought out Baltimore’s tremendous achdus and ahavas hatorah.

At 11:45, Hagaon Rav Yosef Berger, Shlita, Rav of Kehillas Kol Torah gave a "teefa" shiur on the topic, after which Harav Amrom Jungreis, Rav and Rosh Kollel, gave a shiur on the topic. In it he quoted the words of the Shem Mishmuel that explains the greatness of Hallel which is not a chiyuv and yet Klal Yisroel goes beyond their obligation to praise Hashem. On the same note, concluded Rabbi Jungreis, when businesspeople go beyond their obligation and use their day off to be oisek betorah, it is a tremendous Kiddush Hashem.

The Yarchei Kallah concluded with Mincha after which a hot lunch was served.
