Galai Tzahal (IDF Radio) crime reporter Hadas Steif, who reported on the deadly double bombing in Jerusalem this morning and hinted that the decision to appoint Otzma Yheudit chairman MK Itamar Ben-Gvir as Israel's Public Security Minister is to blame for the attack.

Steif said live on the radio: "It is impossible to separate the event from the coalition negotiations and the desire to appoint a certain person to the position of managing a certain ministry."

Later, Steif attacked Ben-Gvir's arrival at the scene of the attack and wrote on her Twitter account: "The designated Minister of Public Security... in this announcement of yours from this morning? The police officers and Border Police who will be harmed will be your responsible.''

Galai Tzahal has suspended Steif from covering the attack. "I have been suspended from broadcasting the attack until further notice... All my haters will have a party. Don't forget to invite me too,'' Steif wrote on Twitter.

Ben-Gvir said in response: "Hadas Steif used the microphone that Galai Tzahal gave her to give support to terrorism, to incite against me and even to report a false report (and not that her visit to the Temple Mount is encouraging terrorism - just the opposite). I hope that her suspension will not be temporary. I am the first to fight for the freedom of expression of journalists, but those who encourage the terrorists to carry out attacks and look for justifications for them should not be allowed to broadcast on Galai Tzahal."
