Efrat, Israel - Nov. 21, 2022 - My antique-style leather bindings are handcrafted as they were by craftsmen in the late 16th and early 17th centuries during the Renaissance era. I offer a complete line of leather binding in both traditional and contemporary styles using this age-old process. In contrast to today’s high-speed commercial book productions, I create my customized volumes using a minimum of 69 steps. Working with a variety of leather bookbinding skins – such as cow, goat, and snake – the volume’s physical beauty and durability is enhanced, hence extending its life and usage.
