For a third day in a row, trucks have been backed up past the highway exit to get into the Port of Baltimore and load up their rigs. Drivers said it is a problem that impacts all consumers.

"It's like this every day," is what lots of truckers shouted to 11 News Wednesday from their cabs while waiting in line to load up at the Port of Baltimore.

Inside the port, there are more lines and hours of idling, truckers tell 11 News.

Some truckers sent 11 News photos of what that looked like.

Others asked not to be identified for fear of retribution and feared a repeat of what they say happened earlier this week when the port closed early and trucks were turned away empty.

"Monday they shutdown at 4 p.m. they just told everybody, 'The port's closed. Go home.' Yesterday, they shutdown at 11:30. People got there at 6:30 and never got a load," said one trucker who did not want to be identified.

Truckers said there are livelihoods at stake, bills to pay and families to feed. They also said consumers will see higher prices and empty shelves.
