Baltimore, MD - Oct. 6, 2022 - After days of rain, and just hours before Kol Nidrei, the roof in the Ohel Moshe (R’ Teichman) social hall building, soon to be demolished as part of the upcoming expansion project, began leaking in several places. A Neitz minyan with nearly 50 people was planned to take place in that very space!
Desperate to find a new place to host the minyan, the Shul administration reached out to Larry and Lara Franks - of Accents/Serengeti/Cocoaccino’s/Accents Liquor who didn’t hesitate to offer their party room, which literally fit exactly the number of seats needed.
B'Chasdei Hashem, within a few hours volunteers had transformed the beautiful event room in to a Shul, and it was packed soon thereafter with men and women as Kol Nidrei began in Shuls all across Baltimore.
What a beautiful chesed. May it be a zechus for the Franks family for a year of good health, parnassa and simcha!
