Israel, U.S., UK, August 6-7, 2022 -- This Tisha B’av, join TorahAnytime.com for what is expected to be the largest live streamed event in the history of the Jewish people. In recognition of the worldwide thirst for words of guidance and inspiration, TorahAnytime.com has met the need with its annual Tisha B’av night and all-day webcast event. With over 25 major live streams from over 120 cities throughout the U.S., UK and Israel, a day known for its destruction can become a day utilized for spiritual growth.

“Tisha B’av is a day that the entire Jewish people are in a state of mourning,” says Joseph Davis, Executive Director of TorahAnytime.com. “Throughout history, calamities and tragedies coincide with this Hebrew date. It is a time we reflect on our past, take stock of the present, and build for our future.”

Expecting more than 350,000 viewers, TorahAnytime.com has been working tiringly and proficiently on making this event the most inspiring for all Jews around the world.

“Our hope is to elevate people’s experience of Tisha B’av to one of meaning, motivation and connection,” continues Davis. Instead of counting down the minutes until Tisha B’av ends, we are striving to inspire people to count up the hours of learning and growth they have achieved throughout this transformative night and day.”

But holding such a worldwide event does not come easy. “The technological considerations are immense,” explains Rubin Kolyakov, co-founder and Technical Director of TorahAnytime.com. “We’ve been carefully planning this event for almost a year. It’s officially the saddest day of the Jewish calendar, but seeing so many people come together to add deeper meaning and understanding to their lives is just such a beautiful thing.”

In addition to the live webcast, a special Yiddish Program, Children’s Program and TorahAnyOne Program featuring speakers for beginners is available. TorahAnytime has also prepared a number of other accessible venues to gain such inspiration. Providing Roku Channel access on the TorahAnytime Roku channel, live streaming capabilities through the Android and iPhone Mobile App and the Dial-In Line (718-298-2077) for those without internet or in remote locations, wherever a Jew finds him or herself this Tisha B’av, access to the event has been accommodated.
