Following the conclusions of Israel’s Commission of Inquiry that a single hadlakah will take place on Har Meron on Lag Ba’omer, a number of Chassidic courts announced that this year they will hold tishin in Complex A (the Fishman Zelikovich Complex), which extends over 8 dunams of land.

Last night, Zviki Tessler, director of Lag Baomer in Meron, sent a letter to the Chassidishe representatives stating that although private events are not his responsibility, he is willing to make every effort to assist them in locating areas for tishin to arrange complexes subject to the approval of officials.

In recent days, a number of meetings of Chassidishe representatives have been held with the participation of Tessler in order to ensure that the events will be conducted in the safest manner and without risk to human life.

Complex A will host the Lag Ba’omer events of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak, Rav Elimelech Biderman, Yeshivas Oraisa, and others. Producers will set up a stage for the rebbe and rabbonim, and a special stage for the orchestra.

In addition to the private events that will take place in the Chassidic compound, there will be public events in Meron, including the main – and only – lighting led by the Rebbe of Boyan, and the memorial service for the 45 kedoshim killed in the tragedy last year, as first reported by Matzav.com earlier this week.

In addition, additional events are expected to take place, including those led by Rav Rafael Abuchatzeira, Rav Benayahu Shmueli, and others.
