PA detainees commission compares Israel Prison Services policy on Palestinian prisoners to 'Nazism'
The Israeli military extended a general closure for the West Bank on Wednesday as a manhunt for six escaped Palestinian prisoners continues, three days after their escape from Gilboa prison in nothern Israel.
Riots started in the evening in solidarity with the prisoners in several Palestinian locations, clashing with Israeli soldiers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 60 people were injured by tear gas in protests in the Nablus area.
Israel’s Walla news reported shots fired at Israeli forces in Ramallah, but said no one was injured.
