At least 689 patients are in serious condition, including 149 on artificial lung ventilation
Israel on Friday reported 8,078 new daily coronavirus infections logged the previous day.
According to the Health Ministry's website, 133,423 tests had been conducted Thursday, returning a positivity rate of 6.7%.
At least 689 patients were in serious condition as of Friday, including 149 on artificial lung ventilation.
The official death toll was at 6,943.
