139 Additional COVID-19 Cases Reported In Maryland For Monday

Maryland's COVID-19 metrics continue to have a slight increase, but Monday showed a jump not seen in awhile. The health department for the state recorded 139 new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

For the month of June, every death that was a result of COVID-19 came from those who were unvaccinated. 

As of now, the positivity rate is 1. 48%, but this same time last month, the positivity rate was below .8%. 

Regarding vaccinations, 3,551,595 Marylanders have received their first dose, while 3,233,064 have received the second dose. So far, 267,971 single-dose vaccinations have been administered as well. 

From the data recorded for Monday, there has been one additional COVID-19-related death recorded, and seven more people hospitalized.
