We are pleased to report that, now, many more visa holders will be allowed to enter Israel without the need for permits. Citizens of the United States, Canada and European countries (including Russia) who hold any A-class visa (such as toshav arai, toshav keva, and students) may now enter Israel without permits, from any point of origin.
Exceptions to this are travelers who have been in one of the seven Red countries in the past 14 days. (Red countries are: S. Africa, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, India, Mexico and Turkey.)
Lastly, at this time, visa holders with Australian or South American citizenships must still obtain entry permits.
