Gov. Larry Hogan announced Thursday his program to help Maryland school children with the mental health effects of COVID-19.
Maryland's Boys & Girls clubs are getting $25 million from the state to help deal with mental illness.
Hogan stopped by the gymnasium at Callaway Elementary School to pass along the news.

"We're here today to announce Project Bounce Back which is a groundbreaking initiative to help our young people recover from the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic," Hogan said.
The program, in conjunction with the Maryland Alliance of Boys & Girls clubs, will expand its services to every county in the state. It'll target 45,000 Maryland students, especially those learning in Title I schools. Project Bounce Back will also provide on the spot regional mental health services using crisis teams.
