Valid for 45-days, foreign university, Yeshiva, and Seminary students and workers likely to benefit most

Israel is issuing 45-day re-entry permits for foreigners who want to leave temporarily. Travelers are expected to fill out an online form seven days before their expected flight date and provide a scan of their passport, residence permit, and return permit. It serves as a one-time re-entry permit.

Upon returning, all citizens are required to present a PCR coronavirus test within 72 hours of departure and health insurance which covers coronavirus-related issues.

Quarantine is required upon entry for any foreigner vaccinated or infected outside of Israel but can leave early if a series of tests are run. However, vaccinated Israeliā€™s returning from countries with high infection rates must enter isolation, such as India, South Africa, Turkey, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Mexico, and Brazil.
