By BJLife Newsroom
Posted on 04/05/21

Baltimore, MD – The Maryland Department of Health (MDH), local jurisdictions, and their partners operate COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites throughout the state. This weekly advisory provides information about testing site locations and hours operated by local health departments, as well as the status of their vaccination efforts at this time and how to pre-register for a vaccine.

Based on the state’s accelerating vaccination rate and an anticipated increase in supply from the federal government, Maryland is now in Phase 2B of its vaccination plan. Eligibility will continue to expand rapidly: the vaccine will soon be available to all Marylanders over the age of 16. All Marylanders age 16 and older can now pre-register for an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at a mass vaccination site. You can also pre-register by phone through the state’s COVID-19 vaccination support center at 1-855-MD-GOVAX (1-855-634-6829).

Even if you are vaccinated, it is believed that you can still spread COVID-19 if you are symptomatic. And if you are not vaccinated, you are vulnerable to new and contagious variants, so testing continues to be critical to ending this pandemic.

MDH encourages the following individuals to get COVID-19 tests:
