Baltimore, MD - Mar. 25, 2021 - The following announcement was recently sent to the parent body and staff of Bais Yaakov.
Dear Parents and Staff,
It is with great excitement and anticipation that we announce the appointment of Rabbi Moshe Frohlich as Principal of Bais Yaakov Middle School. Rabbi Frohlich comes to us from Boston where he is Assistant Principal at Torah Academy of Boston. He will assume leadership of the Middle School in September, 2021.
An exceptionally talented and very beloved leader, Rabbi Frohlich exudes genuine warmth and concern for others. He has outstanding communication skills and will undoubtedly interface well with administrators, teachers, parents, and most importantly students, alike.
Rabbi Frohlich and his wife have strong Baltimore connections. He is a musmach of Ner Yisroel, and holds a Masters Degree in Education and Administration. Mrs. Bracha Frohlich, (nee Fisher), a highly regarded teacher in her own right, is a Bais Yaakov of Baltimore graduate.
This announcement is the culmination of many months of an intensive national search and vetting of multiple candidates, men, and women. Rabbi Frohlich's appointment has the wholehearted support of our Rabbanim, Vaad HaChinuch, Board of Directors, and our outstanding Middle School Administrators.
We are also very pleased to confirm that our beloved Rabbi Naftoli Hexter, who has led and shaped the Middle School into one of the most highly admired Bais Yaakov’s in the country, will remain active in the Bais Yaakov family and will be available as a resource during the transition period.
We are confident that Rabbi Frohlich will further infuse the Middle School with great ruach and an excitement for Torah and Yiras Shamayim as our students grow into young ladies who are proud of their heritage as we are proud of them.
Wishing everyone a Chag Kasher V’Sameach,
Moshe Dov Shurin
