British scientists estimate that 7.6% of individuals who have had the illness experience hearing loss
Hearing loss, vertigo and tinnitus may be related to Covid-19, a new research from Britain has suggested, Sky News reported on Monday.
Researchers from the University of Manchester and Manchester Biomedical Research Centre assess that 7.6 percent of people who contracted the coronavirus experience hearing loss and 14.8 percent suffer tinnitus.

Vertigo was also prevalent in 7.2 percent of Covid-19 infected individuals.
“If it is correct that something between 7 percent and 15 percent is having these symptoms, that’s something we should take very seriously,” director of the Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness Prof Kevin Munro told Sky News. Read more at i24
