Israel eased the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus on Sunday, reopening large parts of the economy.

Under the new rules, restaurants, cafes and bars can reopen for indoor service, which will only be available to those holding the Green Pass, which is issued a week after the second vaccine shot. Outdoor seating is available for people without the Green Pass too, with caps on the maximum number of patrons.

Event venues can reopen for Green Pass holders as well, with attendance capped at 300 people or 50 percent of maximum capacity. Read more at i24
