Maryland could see moderate snow starting Sunday into Sunday night followed by light snow becoming mixed with sleet and rain Monday. Then, a second round of light to moderate snow could fall Monday night into middy Tuesday.

Based on this set-up, the heaviest snow should fall in the northwest suburbs, where it will be colder, and a pure snow for longer.

It's still early but, Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer says a first estimate of total snow fall could anywhere from 5 to 10 inches by Tuesday.
