The European Capital: The Jerusalem Municipality Illuminates The Historic Buildings In The City

As part of the city improvement program led by Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, the municipality has announced it is embarking on a lighting project for historic buildings throughout the city.

Included in the first phase of the project, the YMCA, the Tomb of David, the Great Synagogue, and the Tower of David will be illuminated.

The project will be completed by June 2021 and will cost about NIS 6 million.

Mayor Moshe Lion: "As part of the project to improve the city, we are currently preparing for a massive influx of tourists to Jerusalem the day after the coronavirus, and decided on a monument lighting campaign throughout the city."
