'We are at the very beginning of a very serious wave'
"Israel is entering the worst wave of the pandemic to date," Israeli hospital heads warned Monday, as coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country.
"We are at the very beginning of a very serious wave," Professor Pierre Singer, head of intensive care at Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva, told Israeli broadcaster Channel 13.

"Hospitals are filling up with younger people. We have patients aged 48, 32, 55. I see entire families infected. People have not understood that this disease is infectious, dangerous, it is not over."
Salman Zarka, director of Ziv medical center in Safed, says the disease is "striking again, more so than in previous waves." Read more at i24
