Baltimore, MD - Dec. 26, 2020 - It is with deep pain and sadness that BaltimoreJewishLife.com informs the community of the petira of Rebetzin Dr. Aviva Weisbord, A'H, Aviva bas Moreinu v’Rabbeinu Harav Shmuel Yaakov, over Shabbos.
Rebetzin Dr. Weisbord was the wife of Rabbi Beryl Weisbord; mother of Reb Yehuda (Yael) Weisbord, Ayala (Rabbi Pinchas) Jurkowitz, Sholom Meir "Shmop" (Lia) Weisbord, Dvora Meira (Dr. Jonathan) Ringo, Yosef Aryeh (Tzipporah) Weisbord, Noson Zvi (Aviva Rachelle) Weisbord, and Feige Miryam (Reb Yaakov Akiva) Sofer; sister of Rabbi Matis Weinberg, Rabbi Simcha Weinberg, Yehudis Zwick, Rebetzin Miriam Feldman and Naomi Sprung; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, Moreinu HaRav Shmuel Yaakov Weinberg, ZTV'L, and Rebbetzin Chana Weinberg, A'H, (nee Ruderman).
The Levaya will take place Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm outdoors on the Yeshiva campus in front of the Roshei Hayeshiva’s house, 398 Mount Wilson Lane.
There will be outdoor socially distant seating on the grass opposite the house for those who wish to attend.
Please wear a mask. You may also stay in your car in the parking lot.
The Bnei Hayeshiva will be in their respective Batei Medrash.
Outside guests are asked not to enter any Yeshiva building for any reason.
You may follow the funeral procession to the cemetery, but only family will be allowed in the cemetery due to covid restrictions.

Shiva Information:
Shiva will be held at the Weisbord residence, 421 Yeshiva Lane, Apt 1 C-D.
The family requests that anyone who has not had covid in the past 5 months should please not enter the apartment.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
There will be opportunities to pay a shiva call on the patio outside with prior arrangements with individual availim.
Minyanim are for the family only.
