Parties to hold negotiations until December 31 in attempt to save unity gov't
Days before the Israeli parliament could potentially disperse, the Likud and Blue and White parties came to an agreement on Sunday to extend negotiations over the state budget until December 31 in an attempt to close the gaps between the sides.

The parties are now likely to quickly advance a bill that will prevent the automatic dissolution of parliament that will come into effect on midnight Tuesday.
“Tomorrow, a bill will be consensually put forward, outlining a schedule according to which a 2020 state budget will be passed by [December 31] and a 2021 state budget by [January 5, 2021],” Blue and White said in a statement released to the press. Read more at i24
