Early this morning, the Interior Ministry ordered airlines to immediately bar all foreigners from flying from England to Israel. This is due to recent reports of a new mutation of Covid which has been found in England.

Chaim V’Chessed has been informed that this includes foreigners who have already received entry permits to enter Israel. We have been contacted by numerous passengers who are already in airports in England attempting to board flights. As of now, these passengers will not be permitted to travel, and there is currently nothing that can be done to assist.
We caution non-Israeli citizens in Israel against travel to England until this situation becomes clear. We will issue updates when more information is available.
