Older Israelis show greater willingness to get inoculated, according to survey
The majority of Israelis intend to get inoculated against the coronavirus, according to a poll published on Friday, as the Health Ministry is preparing to roll out of the vaccine in the coming days.
The poll conducted by the Hebrew-language Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper found that 24% of the 875 respondents wish to be vaccinated immediately while 39% said they "will likely get vaccinated, but will wait some time before going about it."

Half of those over 65, who make up over a third of the survey's respondents, said they wanted to get the vaccine immediately and 32% said they "probably will but would rather wait a while."
Older patients are typically more vulnerable to life-threatening complications from the virus.
Just 11% of all respondents said do not wish to get inoculated at all and 17% said they'd rather not be vaccinated in the coming year. Read more at i24
