First batch of 100,000-200,000 Pfizer vaccines to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport Wednesday
Starting next week, Israeli citizens will likely be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 with the official scheme rolling out on December 20, Hebrew media reported on Tuesday.

In the coming days, beginning on Wednesday, 100,000 to 200,000 vaccine doses developed by US pharmaceutical firm Pfizer and German biotech firm BioNTech will land at Ben Gurion Airport.
The doses will be immediately transferred for storage in especially low temperatures managed by Israeli medical firm Teva.
Once the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) green lights the vaccines for usage -- subject for approval on Thursday -- the Israeli Health Ministry will likely follow suit.
According to Hebrew-language broadcaster Channel 12, December 20 is the official date scheduled for launching the national immunization campaign, although inoculations could begin as early as next week. Read more at i24
