Bahrain Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry makes U-turn on sensitive issue of settlement goods
Bahrain announced late Friday that it will not allow imports of Israeli goods produced in West Bank settlements labeled as Israeli.
Bahrain's Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry "is committed to the Bahraini government's unwavering stance regarding adherence to the resolutions of the United Nations," the official BNA news agency said.

The statement makes for a U-turn on the remarks made by Bahrain's Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid al-Zayani, who visited Israel this week a the helm of an official delegation.
During the trip, al-Zayani said that Bahrain will not only allow imports of goods made in West Bank settlements, but also will be labeling them as "Made in Israel."
