Number of COVID-19 patients in serious condition slightly climbs to 287
Israel recorded 1,434 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, new data released by the Health Ministry on Friday morning showed.
It is the seventh consecutive day that Israel registered more than 1,000 daily positive cases; however, the number of screening tests conducted was especially high.

Of the 64,787 tests deciphered Thursday, 2.3 percent tested positive.
On Wednesday, the Jewish state broke its record of testing per day with a total of 71,248 tests.
