Israel, Sudan said to have reached agreement on steps towards normalization, announcement expected later today

The move, hailed by the country's authorities as a breakthrough for the revolution that toppled dictator Omar al-Bashir, comes after Sudan said it transferred millions of dollars to the US as compensation to terrorism victims.
The Times of Israel cited a White House official as confirming that US President Trump ordered Sudan removed from the list.
Another senior US official told Reuters that Israel and Sudan have reached an agreement to start working towards normalizing their ties.
