Israel: Cabinet Approves Kindergartens, Small Businesses, Take-Away Services Reopening

Israel’s Coronavirus Cabinet lifted Thursday several lockdown restrictions amid the recent decrease in morbidity across the country.

As of Sunday, kindergartens, small businesses that receive no costumers, and take away services will reopen.

During the meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu branded the country’s second nationwide lockdown a “success,” saying other states are taking Israel as an example for curtailing the virus spread.

“Other countries, in Europe in particular, are beginning to talk about it [lockdown] and examine it as morbidity already exceeded us in several countries,” Netanyahu said during a meeting of the Coronavirus Cabinet, outlet Ynet reported.
