Israel’s cabinet has voted to extend the current, stringent lockdown until Sunday, October 18 at 12 AM. This means that, as of now, the lockdown will end on Motzai Shabbos, at midnight.

At the same time, Israelis may now fly out of the country unhindered. Israel had barred citizens from flying if their tickets were purchased after September 25. At midnight on October 15, this ban was lifted.
