State agencies have set up a hotline for Marylanders to report situations where coronavirus precautions are being ignored.

The Maryland Emergency Management Agency, Maryland Department of Health and Maryland State Police on Thursday announced the toll-free COVID Prevention Line. Residents can call 1-833-979-2266 or email prevent.covid@maryland.gov.

Marylanders can report situations where guidelines are being ignored and where the potential for the spread of the coronavirus is high. Tipsters may remain anonymous or they can provide their name and phone number in case officials need more information.

Information given to the COVID Prevention Line will be passed along to local health officials. Read more at WBAL
