Baltimore police on Wednesday released a review of its first year of reforms under its Five-Year Transformation and Crime Reduction Strategy.
In a statement, Commissioner Michael Harrison said the changes have led "to further accountability, more fiscal responsibility, newer technology, more rigorous training as well as implementing stronger networks to streamline how our resources are managed."
He said the actions have curbed crime nearly across the board, even as homicides remain nearly on par with where they were last year. Read more at WBAL
