NJ Parade Canceled After Explosives Found Near Route, Gov. Murphy To Have Been In Attendance

The South Plainfield Labor Day parade scheduled for today has been canceled due to several explosives being found on a property near the parade route.

Gov. Phil Murphy and his wife, Tammy Murphy were scheduled to be at the parade. The parade was supposed to kick off at 10 a.m.

Police say one man is in police custody.
