HANOVER, MD — A Southwest Airlines plane en route from Washington, D.C., to Chicago was diverted to BWI as a precaution after an indication light came on on the flight deck Aug. 25. According to officials, the plane landed without issues and taxied to the gate on its own accord.

According to WBFF, the 135 passengers and five crew members were transferred to a different plane and continued on their way to Chicago. The original plane was removed from service and will be checked out mechanically.
