Pelosi: I Have No Regrets Saying What I Did About AOC

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and progressive darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have had a very public fight over the nature of the Democratic Party. AOC recently chided Pelosi for saying she believed AOC and her “squad” – Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley – were irrelevant because they voted against the House’s border funding bill.

The revelation came about this past weekend in an interview Pelosi did with the New York Times, where she said the so-called Squad “have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” but “they’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”

Pelosi doubled down on her comments when she was asked if she was concerned about dividing the Democratic Party.

“I have no regrets about anything,” Pelosi told The Washington Post. “Regrets is not what I do.”
