Baltimore City Police are investigating after a five-year-old girl, was shot on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred inside of a home in the 3300 block of Menlo Drive
The police department says the girl's parents were inside the home when it happened. The girl was said to have been shot in the torso and was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
A neighbor who lives across the street told WBAL-TV 11 news that he saw the girl's father screaming and running up and down the street, yelling for help. The neighbor said he's horrified to find out the girl was shot, saying he sees her playing outside often.
