Hadas Rucham who lives in Kedumim and is the Chief Operations Officer for the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit said: " As the attack took place in multiple locations, we dispatched a number of volunteers to each location of the attacks. One volunteer is located at Tzomet Giti and is treating three people for shock, while other volunteers are located at the entrance to Ariel where the shooting began and assisting people at that location."
Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit Director Avi Tennenbaum said: "Our volunteers undergo specialized training to deal with incidents such as terror attacks. In today's incident the volunteers who arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting occurred helped those in need through the immediate emotional aftermath of the attack and assisted in bringing those who witnessed the shooting back to a stable emotional state."
MDA Spokesperson: At 9:45am a call was received in the 101 Emergency Dispatch Center in the Yarkon Region for a young person who apparently had been shot on Route 5 at Ariel Junction. MDA teams are providing treatment and evacuating 2 severely wounded to Belinson Hospital. One of which is a 35 year old male sedated and ventilated, and the other is a 20 year old with an altered level of consciousness.
The one critically wounded patient is still being treated at the scene.
MDA EMT Hananel Hess recalls: "I happened to be passing by Ariel Junction with the car I use to teach driving lessons, when I happened upon great commotion at the Ariel Junction. I saw soldiers running and heard gunshots. I understood that this was out of the ordinary and I requested that MDA teams respond. Once the shooting stopped, I exited my vehicle and I saw an approximately 20 year old patient lying unconscious on the ground with gun shot wounds to his upper body. We assessed him and found him to be in critical condition."
MDA Paramedic Daniel Weissberg recalls: "Upon arriving to the Ariel Junction, a 46 eyar old male patient was brought to us. He was suffering from gun shot wounds to his upper body and was unresponsive. We provided life saving treatment including sedation and ventilation and transported him in stable yet severe condition to the hospital."

At least one Israeli was killed and two others injured in a double attack outside the West Bank settlement of Ariel, rescue services reported.
According to IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis, at around 9.45 AM a Palestinian terrorist attacked a soldier at the Ariel junction and stole his weapon before he shot towards civilians at the junctions, hitting three cars passing through.
