Baltimore, MD - Dec. 3, 2018 - It was the BSSP's honor to participate in the Baltimore City Hall Chanukah celebration this morning. In addition to the public ceremonial lighting of the Menorah, various dignitaries including Councilman Isaac "Yitzy" Schleifer lit memorial candles for the victims of the Tree of Life Congregation tragedy that occurred in Pittsburgh. BSSP President, Michael Diamond, Vice-President Heshie Klein, and General Counsel, Nathan Willner represented the organization at the event. Among the other notable attendees were Mayor Pugh, City Council President Young, NWD Major Brickus and Sergeant Currie.
The attendees were treated to musical performances from the Cheder Chabad Children's Choir, and remarks from Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan and Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum.
