The Israeli Health Ministry recommended on Thursday that members of the public, including the vaccinated and those who have recovered from COVID-19, avoid travel abroad to certain countries with a high morbidity rate such as India, Brazil, and Ukraine.

Ethiopia, South Africa, Mexico, and Turkey are also on the list of destinations to avoid. 

Given the high morbidity rates around the world and the presence of variants, the Health Ministry strongly advises the general public, including those vaccinated and recovering, not to leave Israeli territory at this time.  Read more at i24
