Coronavirus czar says hoping the pods system could soon be scrapped for full-class lessons

Israel could start administering the vaccine against COVID-19 coronavirus to children in the coming weeks, the country's coronavirus czar Nachman Ash said on Sunday.

In his interview for the Army Radio, Ash said that the move would follow a US Food and Drug Administration green-light, as well as the necessary approvals in the Jewish state.

Ash said he expected these to happen in the coming few weeks, meaning the process could be put in motion relatively soon.
