Israel’s Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said during a press conference on the coronavirus outbreak Wednesday that the country should expect to see “a wave of severe morbidity coming,” within 10 days time.

“It [COVID-19] is at the shore of Israel, so to speak, and we expect that within 10 days time we will see a massive increase of severe patients, we can work to change the situation,” Bennett said.

“We have set up a crisis cell with all the Israeli institutions, led by the Mossad and the Defense and Health ministries,” he maintained. “I can tell you today that we are working very hard.”
