According to information released by United Hatzalah, a three-year-old child, R”L, lost part or all of three digits from a hand after it got stuck in an electric gate at a Bnei Brak shul. A United Hatzalah ambulance responded and EMT Moishe Segal explains the gate closed on the child’s hand during a simchas beis hashoeva, resulting in partial and total amputation of three digits.

The child was transported to Schneider Children’s Hospital where surgeons worked to save the damaged fingers.
