A yeshiva talmid sustained serious injured in a bicycle accident in the Nachshonim area on Sunday Chol Hamoed Pesach. United Hatzalah EMTs and paramedics from Elad responded to the call, treating the young man who had a serious head injury. Unfortunately, he was not riding with a helmet on.

United Hatzalah Safety Coordinator Shmulik Avraham was first on the scene. he explained the accident occurred near Kibbutz Nachshonim, and after he and a paramedic examined the victim they quickly determined his condition was serious.

The yeshiva talmid was on a chol hamoed outdoors event with friends, riding down a hill and then trying to jump a ramp, which unfortunately in this case led to serious injury.

MDA reports the call came in to the Yarkon dispatcher at 4:20PM, stating the 15-year-old victim was transported by MDA paramedics to Beilinson Hospital with a serious head injury.
