Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant met today (18.01.23) with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate Abraham Accords Caucus.
 
The U.S. delegation, led by Caucus co-chairs, Senators Jacky Rosen and James Lankford arrived in Israel following visits in the region. The Israeli party included Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Herzog, and Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defense Shachar Katz.
 
Minister Gallant expressed his appreciation to the delegation for their ongoing commitment to the U.S. - Israel bond and to Israel’s security.

He emphasized the importance of the Abraham Accords in ensuring peace and stability while maintaining Israel’s security superiority (QME) in the region, in the face of a multi-dimensional Iranian threat.
