4 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!  $107,276. DOLLARS AND COUNTING!

We come to you now and ask for your continued loyalty and support www.bikercholim.org

Batimore, MD - Aug. 4, 2020 - Through these challenging times, one thing has remained constant: Baltimore Bikur Cholim’s commitment to the community and our medical personnel. Covid-19 presents unique challenges to patients and their families who are faced with little to no visitation allowed, together with the juggling of Shabbos and Yom Tov. Moreover, and unfortunately the advent of coronavirus has not eliminated patients dealing with heart disease, cancer, stroke, and sudden emergency care nor the happy occasions of a new baby. For all this and more, Baltimore Bikur Cholim has answered the call. We have connected patients to their families and facilitated medical consults where necessary. Rabbi Pinchos Rabinowitz, Bikur Cholim’s executive director, remains in touch with the clinicians daily and updates the families. He has been setting up families and patients with Zoom visitations as well as arranging for loved ones, whenever possible, to visit in person. Mrs. Bonnie Pollak, Bikur Cholim’s Coordinator of Family Services, is constantly navigating with the hospitals to allow kosher meals and religious items to be delivered to patients in all area hospitals and scrambling to find hotel rooms to house families from out of town.  Our Kosher Hospitably Rooms in six major local hospitals remain open and fully stocked and are now additionally open to include all medical personnel who continue to serve us so devotedly, around the clock, throughout this pandemic. Bikur Cholim has hosted four teleconferences to answer the myriad of questions plaguing and confusing the community with our very own dedicated and knowledgeable physicians.

This is why we need YOU more than ever before. The Bikur Cholim Men’s Bike-a thon has served as our main fundraiser for over 6 years. Thanks to you, we have met and surpassed our goals every year. We come to you now and ask for your continued loyalty for this enjoyable and important event. Our top fundraisers to date are Bill Goldberg at $10, 354 and Pinny Hexter at $5,928.00, and Avie Rock at $5,520.00 dollars!

Register at bikercholim.org and choose your challenge.
